From now on, AT THE COST OF OUR STANDARD, DOUBLE SIDED, FR4 PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD you can order our INSULATED METAL SUBSTRATE Printed Circuit Board (IMS - Insulated Metal Substrate) with VERY HIGH HEAT DISSIPATION PROPERTIES, This kind of laminate is indispensable for the realization of projects with high brightness LEDs and everywhere a high termal dissipation capability is needed.

SMI

It is a laminate made of an Alluminium base, usually 1,5mm or 3mm thick (your choice), a dielectric (insulator) 100 µm thick and copper, available in 35 or 70 µm thickness. In the standard SMI laminate there is the presence of fiber glass in the dielectric, and its thermal conductivity varies from 1 to 1.8 W/mK, instead, our laminate, with a fiberglass free dielectric, has a thermal conductivity that varies from 1.8 to 3 W/mK. HOW TO ORDER:

if you want to order your IMS (Insulated Metal Substrate) you just have to follow the normal online procedure to order our DOUBLE SIDED "standard" or "plus" Printed Circuit Board (although, IN FACT, the IMS has only one copper side to draw your tracks on), and then indicate in the "NOTE" FIELD, in the form used to upload the Gerber files, the term "IMS 1,5/35 - Green Solder" (to order an IMS Pcb on Alluminium Base 1,5mm thick, 35µm copper and Green Solder on the copper side).

This is the complete list of the possible combinations you can order, someone will have a surcharge added on the invoice (please send an email if you need to pay in advance with Credit Card):

"SMI 1,5/35 - Green Solder" Alluminium 1,5mm / Copper 35 µm and Green solder (nessun sovrapprezzo)

"SMI 1,5/70 - Solder Verde" Alluminio 1,5mm / Rame 70 µm e solder di colore verde (sovrapprezzo del 10% calcolato in fattura)

"SMI 3/70 - Solder Verde" Alluminio 3mm / Rame 70 µm e solder di colore verde (sovrapprezzo del 20% calcolato in fattura)

E' possibile ordinare circuiti SMI con solder di colore BIANCO, ma SENZA SERIGRAFIE senza sovrapprezzo, semplicemente indicando "Bianco" anziché "Verde"
